(27 January 2016 – Hong Kong) New World Department Store China Limited (“NWDS” or the “Company”; Hong Kong stock code: 825), one of the largest owners and operators of department stores in Mainland China, garnered the “Charity Festival – 5-year Special Tribute Award”, the “China Charity – Group Award” and the “Best Green Project” at the “2015 China Charity Festival” with its outstanding sustainability performance. Its large-scale sustainable development community project, “@Dream Sustainable Development Program” (“@Dream Program” or the “Program”), won the “Outstanding Organization” in the “China Homework” for NWDS.

NWDS has longstanding commitment for community services, and continually optimized the “@Dream Program” by introducing the “@Music – Rainbow Orchestra”, the “@Sports – Tennis Academy” and the “@Sports – Cool Soccer” music and sports training programs for Mainland under-resourced children in FY2015. Meanwhile, the Company has actively encouraged staff to participate in voluntary work together with their families and friends through the organization of 260 voluntary activities which accounted for nearly 6,700 service hours.
