Founded in 1993, New World Department Store China Limited (“NWDS” or the “Company”；Stock Code: 825) is the retail flagship of New World Development Company Limited (Stock Code: 17) and has developed itself as one of the largest owners and operators of department stores in Mainland China. The Company was successfully listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on 12 July 2007.
By employing the forward-looking expansion strategies of “multiple presences in a single city” and “radiation city” throughout the years, NWDS currently operates a large national network of 15 “New World”branded department stores in Mainland China, and 7 “Ba Li Chun Tian”branded department stores and shopping malls in Shanghai.
