(16 October 2012 – Hong Kong) New World Department Store China Limited (“NWDS” or the “Company”; Hong Kong stock code: 825), one of the largest owners and operators of department stores in the PRC, jointly organizes the “Michael Jackson’s Wardrobe - Gorgeous 25 Years” with Ponte 16 Resort, Macau once again. The exhibition will be held at Chongqing Store, Changsha Trendy Plaza and Wuhan Qiaokou Branch Store from 19 Oct to 5 Nov, displaying over 50 pieces of Michael Jackson collection and enabling the audiences to revisit the glorious moments of his 25-year singing career as a superstar who is hailed as “King of Pop”. 

Following the unprecedented success of last year's “Super Stars’ Memorable Collections Exhibition”, New World Department Store once again cooperates with Ponte 16 Resort, Macau to hold the exhibition. This year's event, with a theme setting on Michael Jackson, will be held at NWDS stores in Chongqing, Changsha and Wuhan and will display over 50 precious items that showcase the superstar’s gorgeous years. The exhibition highlights include Michael Jackson White Glove from Historical Motown 25 Performance, his Crystal Socks used in the “Victory” tour, his Signed Guitar, his Electric Jacket and used Towel, and “We Are the World” Signed Poster and many of them will be displayed in China for the first time. The total value of the exhibits is more than HK$10 million.

NWDS stores will organize a series of promotional activities to tie in with the exhibition during the event period. Chongqing Store will hold “MJ Era Flash Show” to invite professional dancers to imitate Michael Jackson at different period of his career, and arrange them to take photos with the customers. Changsha Trendy Plaza will co-organize a “MJ Imitating Talents Show” with local universities and Michael Jackson fans. Wuhan Qiaokou Branch Store will invite professional actors to perform Michael Jackson impersonation in the “Return of a Superstar” concert to honor the superstar with his music and dance. In addition, all customers visiting the exhibition will have the opportunity to join the daily lucky draw for a chance to win a luxury Macau travel package for two people.
